OUR STORY

Origins

Right Nice Stuff started out in 2016 as Northern Craft, a craft fair organiser. Carley & Sean worked together to make the best independent events in the North. We created events that focused on indie makers, and put together lowbrow exhibitions to showcase all the talented creatives we worked with, making pins, t-shirts, art prints, tattoos and more.

For one event we thought it'd be nice to make a bit of merch for our stallholders and customers. One t-shirt turned into 3 t-shirts and a pin. And before we knew it, we had a clothing collection. Northern Craft became Right Nice Stuff and clothing became the sole focus of the brand. Carley left to focus on her family & career and Sean continued to curate the collection.
Right Nice Stuff has gone from strength to strength, selling to customers all over the world, online and in person. There is much more to come.

About Sean

Sean has well over a decade of experience in the print industry, largely in screen printing and the production of vinyl stickers. It seems fitting that his only three skills led him to Right Nice Stuff and No Fuss Print Co, a sticker shop based in Leeds that he co-owns. You should check it out, if you like that kind of thing.

As a commercial artist he travelled the world for a decade showcasing his artwork to the unsuspecting public, and he even had a solo art show in a renowned street art gallery in Chicago. He has created artwork for clients including Spotify, SXSW, Chicago Bulls, Take It Easy Lab, Wall Of Sound, Threadless, Arctic Monkeys, Death Cab For Cutie, The National, Fleet Foxes, Belle & Sebastian and more.

Born in Bolton in 1982, he is a long suffering Northern Spurs fan, his favourite movie is The Empire Strikes Back and his favourite band are The Decemberists. He lives in Yorkshire with his wife, two children & dog Chip.

Tell me a little bit about your tees

The tees I use are round neck tee and is made from 100% organic rung-spun combed cotton. They feel great, they fit great and they will last than your standard tees. In our opinion, they are the best shirts available. I have done a lot of research on this over the years and am more than happy with the selection on my site.

I use Stanley Stella for all of my screen printed products. Garments for the fashion-conscious. Stanley/Stella, premium quality clothing offers cuts and colours aligned with current trends. These short sleeve, round neck t-shirts are produced with care and attention to every detail. Stanley Stella clothing believes in change in the textile industry to produce clothing a lot more responsibly. Their affiliation with the Fairwear Foundation and high standards certifications prove their commitment to sustainable and responsible practices. How are the tees made?

All my tees, sweatshirts & bags are screen printed with water-based, eco-friendly vegan ink. Everything is hand printed in Leeds by me, Sean.

As all these products are hand screen printed, each item may have unique differences. However, all products have been inspected and passed a quality check.

How do the tees fit?

From personal experience we would say the tees are mostly true to size but can run slightly small as they are fitted and pre shrunk. If you are in-between sizes, we recommend to go up a size unless you like a tighter fit. Nobody has ever returned a tee because it's too big.

Size Guide - Chest (to fit): Small 36-38" // Medium 38-40" // Large 40-42" // XL 42-44" // 2XL 44-46" // 3XL 46-48" // 4XL 48-50"

Can I get free shipping?

We offer free 48 hour tracked shipping on UK orders of £50 & over. You don't need to do anything, this will automatically be added to your checkout.
